We are a practical charity addressing the issues of homelessness by harnessing the skills, products and goodwill of the building industry to improve hostels, day centres, night shelters, training centres and move-on accommodation, for frontline homelessness agencies who work directly with homeless people.
CRASH helps a large number of refurbishment and development projects throughout the UK and we do this predominantly in three ways:
- We can try and source building material free of charge from our list of Patron or supporting suppliers
- Providing on-site professional expertise
- Awarding cash grants
The result is that these premises can be refurbished and developed to a much higher standard than would otherwise be possible.
CRASH receives no Government funding. As an industry charity we are supported by companies and individuals within the construction and property sector.
CRASH Patrons commit to making an annual contribution for a minimum of three years. These donations cover the core running costs of the charity and supports projects. This allows CRASH to channel 100% of all donations received from our fundraising events directly into helping projects that support individuals damaged by the experiences of homelessness.
Our Patron companies are the lifeblood of CRASH and we are very grateful for their loyal and generous support.
