Builders’ Merchants Awards for Excellence support CRASH

CRASH was thrilled to be chosen as the benefitting charity for the 2009 Builders’ Merchants Awards for Excellence, held on 20th November at the Lancaster London Hotel.

The awards, organised by Builders’ Merchants News, were staged in front of an invited audience of leading merchants and suppliers and we are delighted to report that several of CRASH’s patron companies – ACO, Lafarge and Hanson received awards - congratulations to you all. 

CRASH donation envelopes were placed on each table which resulted in a fantastic £3,646 being collected on the night. We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who donated and can assure them that every penny will be used to improve and refurbish hostels, day-centres and training centres for homeless people.

Our thanks also go to Encon Insulation/Neville Long and Courtney Smith Recruitment for sponsoring prizes for the raffle.

They not only allow us to benefit from the Builders’ Merchants News Awards for Excellence event, but also generously support us through the placement of free adverts for our No Christmas Card Appeal in Builders’ Merchants News magazine, which is a great help.
