The Quality Awards organised by Construction News is a celebration of the quality demonstrated by the UK construction industry, encouraging innovation, management best practice and teamwork. Recognition of the best companies in UK construction has been the aim of these Awards over the last 13 years, rewarding key flagship projects both large and small.
We are happy to report that several of CRASH’s patron companies - Balfour Beatty, BAM, Costain, Skanska and United House were finalists in several Awards - congratulations to them all. Special mention goes to Skanska who won the Sustainability Award and Costain who were not only shortlisted six times, but won the CSR, Environmental Project and Training categories resulting in them winning the Judges’ Supreme Award.
CRASH donation envelopes were placed on each table which resulted in a fantastic £4,533.71 being collected on the night. We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who donated and can assure them that every penny will be used to improve and refurbish hostels, day-centres, training-centres and move-on accommodation for homeless people.
