How many Red Bricks did you buy?...

Thank you so much to everyone who took part in our Red Brick Appeal which was a new initiative for 2010 and ran from Mon 26th – Fri 30th April. We had a great response from companies across the UK and very enthusiastic feedback about the appeal, so lets hope we reach that magic number; £20,000!

Donations for the appeal are still coming in and so far we have received a total of £4,454 with additional pledges still to come. We know that some of you still have events lined up for the next few weeks so do keep us posted on how you get on and don’t hesitate to get in touch with the CRASH team if we can do anything else to support you.

If you haven’t yet had a chance to send in your Red Brick Appeal donation or need any advice on the best way to get your donation safely to CRASH, please contact our Fundraising Administrator Kate Marsh on 020 8742 0717 or email kmarsh@crash.org.uk.

We’d also love to see some photos from your fundraising efforts so do please send them in as soon as you get a chance and you may just get featured on our website and in our next e-newsletter!

We would like to say a big thank you to the following companies who have made donations towards CRASH’s Red Brick Appeal; thank you for such fantastic efforts and your loyal support.

Avonstone Projects Ltd
BAM Construct UK Ltd
Clive Butler Solicitors
Davis Langdon
Encon / Nevill Long Leeds

Holloway White Allom Ltd
Mansell Construction Services Ltd

Each of these generous companies will be receiving a Red Brick certificate, and the company who bought the most bricks will be awarded the CRASH Red Brick trophy and a number of employees will visit the project to see how your generous donations are being put to use.

The charity to benefit from this appeal will be The Kairos Community who provide accommodation, help and support for homeless people. Kairos need our help to refurbish the dining room and kitchen of their hostel in South London.

As the totals currently stand, BAM is the top runner having donated over £1,000, buying an amazing 10 bricks, but the competition is by no means over…

We will be announcing the name of the company who bought the most bricks on Friday 28th May, so do keep those donations coming in and watch this space!

Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported us so far and anyone with events still to take place – your continued generosity and loyal support mean a great deal to CRASH, especially in the current climate. You are what makes CRASH so special.
