Rider Levett Bucknall run from Rome to Monaco

Seven members of Rider Levett Bucknall UK, known collectively as ‘Team Run’ completed their epic 700km charity run, crossing the start/finish line of the Monaco Grand Prix at 2300 hours on 17th September 2009.

Despite car crashes, driving rain, faulty joints and oh-so-sore muscles the team successfully completed the gruelling charity run between the world’s two smallest countries – Vatican City and Monaco.

The ambitious target of relay running 700km in five days was all made worthwhile by the generous sponsorship pledged in support of the team. In particular, the sponsorship of John F Hunt Demolition and Red Recruitment is noted, who made the largest contributions to the £6,493.00 currently pledged.

CRASH were lucky to be the chosen charity to benefit from Rider Levett Bucknall’s extraordinary fundraising efforts and we are very grateful to ‘Team Run’ and everyone who supported their efforts in this challenge.

Sponsorship and donations can still be made; simply click here to visit the team’s JustGiving page.
