Construction Industry Building Dragon Boat Festivals 2008

The 2008 Building Dragon Boat Festivals are taking place on:

  • 4th June 2008 at Salford Docks, Manchester
  • 3rd July 2008 at West Reservoir, North London

What is Dragon Boat Racing?

Dragon Boat Racing is an ancient Chinese tradition and the fastest growing water activity in Britain today - as well as the most fun! Up to 10 people paddle each boat with a drummer at the front beating time!

It is a wonderful team building event and it is amazing to see the competitiveness of some of the teams! Last year was a sell-out and raised a record amount of money for CRASH, all of which is helping homelessness projects around the country.

Sponsored by [off-site] Building you can obtain full entry details from [off-site] Gable Events..

This is the 10th anniversary of the London event and it is becoming increasingly popular. Last year 40 teams entered the London event and 44 teams made the Manchester team a sell-out. We would therefore encourage companies to complete an [off-site] entry form and sign up early to avoid disappointment.

Once you have your team in place, please encourage as much sponsorship as possible to be in for a chance of winning a trophy and a sumptuous meal! There is now an easier way to raise sponsorship for CRASH. You can create your own personalised web page on the [off site]Just Giving web site
