Construction News teamed up with CRASH to help raise awareness of its new website CN Plus.co.uk. For every new registration they offered to donate 50p to CRASH. During the week of the campaign, there were 499 new registrations to the online magazine.

| HBG Tropical Fridays |

| The HBG UK project team at Hempton Court in Aztec West, Bristol, decided to lighten up the site and implemented 'Going Tropical on Fridays'! For a £1, staff can wear something floral on Fridays and for those who do not participate, they will be fined £1. In addition, visitors to the site on Fridays who are not suitably attired will be fined £1! They also hope to encourge their subcontractors and their personnel to join them.

| Long-time CRASH supporter Mike Chaldecott, MD of British Gypsum undertook the challenge of the Mountain Marathon and raised £10,000 - double the amount he hope to raised!! This is the first and most famous and largest mountain marathon in the world, competed by famous explorers such as Ranulph Fiennes. Mike completed the journey, although only 57% of the starting teams actually completed the full course!
