This year's race will be taking place on Sunday 26th September and once more the course is set in the picturesque surroundings of Windsor Great Park. If you have to run 13 miles there really is no prettier place to do it!
Regular entry for the race is now closed but you can still enter as a Golden Bond runner. Simply contact Fundraising Administrator Kate Marsh for more information.
2009 saw over 4,500 runners navigate a slightly altered course through the Great Park; the new route, although still undulating was no-where near as hilly as previous years and consisted of one inner lap of approx 4 miles, a larger lap of approx 7.5 miles and a start & finish stretch of approx 1.5 miles on the Long Walk.
We were thrilled to see so many familiar faces and plenty of new ones at the 2009 Half Marathon and we are, as always, incredibly grateful for the support we receive at this event.
Running the race isn't the only way you can be involved in the Windsor Half Marathon; becoming a sponsor of the event not only means that you become an integral part of a great sporting event but you also join a team whose driving force is helping, through charities, people who are less fortunate than yourselves.
