Personal data as a confidential matter
Thank you for visiting CRASH online. Tackling homelessness is a huge task; we need all the help we can get from the construction and property industries as we play our part in helping so many vulnerable and socially-excluded people.
That is why your support is so valuable to us and why we ask your permission to contact you from time to time with information about our work and how you can help. For example, supporting us financially, coming to events we organise and many others.
However, if you would rather not hear about these opportunities, you are welcome to let us know of your preference at any time.
Data Protection Act 1998
CRASH complies with the data protection principles set out in the Data Protection Act 1998 in relation to personal data which you give to us via our website to the extent that the Act requires it to do so. These principles restrict the powers to disclose to third parties personal data which it is processing.
Right of access to personal data and right of withdrawal
When you communicate personal data to CRASH, you can demand information on what data has been stored and its use at any time. You can update it, change or delete it. All you need to do is to ring us up, write to us or send us an e-mail. However, you do need to be able to prove your identity to us. You can annual your agreement to the use of your data in future at any time by post, phone or e-mail. Click here to find our contact details.
The site will work exactly the same without cookies but some pages (such as the project list and the list of CRASH supporters) will always take a few seconds longer to display.
If you have any concern at all about the way we respect your privacy, do please let us know by contacting the CRASH office. Again, thank you for your support.
