CRASH Patrons and Fundraising Champions take on The Vitality Big Half and Hampton Court Half, raising over £4,500 for CRASH

Huge congratulations to all our incredible runners who took part in The Vitality Big Half and Hampton Court Half in March, raising over £4,500 for CRASH Charity.

Runners from CRASH Patron Partners: 8build, Murphy, VolkerFitzpatrick and CRASH Fundraising Champions N-able took part in The Vitality Big Half marathon in London, on Sunday 10 March.

Speaking about the race, Kelvin Defty from VolkerFitzpatrick said:

“It was a great day and a really good event to be a part of. The crowds were fantastic all the way around the route and they give us that extra push we needed to keep going when it got tough. CRASH do some amazing work and to raise money for them whilst completing my first half marathon was fantastic. I really enjoyed it.”

Richard Edwards from VolkerFitzpatrick added:

“It was a fantastic day and a great experience. If anything, I think the wind and rain may have even helped! Thanks to everybody who sponsored us.”

Runners from CRASH Patron Partner Beale & Co took on the Hampton Court Half marathon the following week on Sunday 17th March.

Dana Mills from Beale & Co said:

‘‘I am really glad that I could take part and I really enjoyed the race. I am so pleased with my fundraising amount and I am glad it is going to a great cause!’’

Kate Marsh, Senior Partnership Manager at CRASH Charity said:

‘‘Huge thank you to everyone who took part in The Vitality Big Half and Hampton Court Half in March. The money you have raised will make a real and lasting difference to the lives of vulnerable people who are homeless or those who need end of life care in a hospice.’’
