The Sailing Cup event began the evening before with a welcoming party where crews had the opportunity to network and size up their competitors whilst enjoying a gourmet BBQ.

The race was followed with afternoon tea at the Port House with a prize giving ceremony. Cundall were crowned the champions in 1st place, ACO claimed 2nd place and Scotch Partners came a respectable 3rd.

CRASH Fundraising and Events Manager Zanika Fearon said:

“It was wonderful to welcome so many people from the construction industry to the 2018 CRASH Sailing Cup Challenge. The event was great fun and a brilliant demonstration of the industry coming together to raise vital donations for their charity. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who took part and delighted that some companies have already booked their yachts for next year’s event in readiness to challenge Cundall for the championship trophy”.

The event raised £5,725 to support our vital work to help homelessness and hospice charities with their building projects.

A special thank you to our raffle prize sponsors Roux at Parliament Square, Imtech, AECOM, Arcadis, NMBS, Morrisroe.
