CRASH seeks an experienced Fundraising Manager to work alongside the charity’s current Fundraising Manager. This is a 12 month contract.
About CRASH Charity:
CRASH Charity is an established, innovative and ambitious industry charity. Our Mission is simple; supported entirely by construction and property companies CRASH helps those who are homeless, or are in a hospice by improving the buildings they need.
We do this by taking the expertise and materials of the construction and property industry to help create and improve hospices, night shelters, hostels and day centres throughout the UK. CRASH offers three things to homelessness and hospice charities; pro bono professional expertise, free materials and cash grants, all sourced from the industry companies that support the charity.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive and with the guidance of the Fundraising & Events Manager you will support the fundraising function of the charity. The role focuses on the development, marketing and administration of CRASH’s fundraising events calendar. You will be responsible for recruiting companies and the individuals who work for them, to take part in a variety of fundraising events and challenges CRASH offers and ensuring the charity reaches its ambitious fundraising targets.
As an industry charity it is important to understand the corporate world and how it works and wishes to engage with charities, as well as having a genuine interest in the homeless and hospice charities that CRASH helps. This is a busy professional charity and we need someone with exemplary people skills who can also demonstrate experience of delivering impeccable administration and reaching fundraising targets. You will be someone who is creative, analytical and works well in a team. The work is detailed, varied and interesting as it engages both the charitable and the corporate sectors.
This role lies at the heart of the relationship that CRASH has with the industry that supports us and the individuals within those companies.
