The Wildgoose Chase raises £17,900 for CRASH charity

26 teams from across the construction industry took part in the second Wildgoose Chase, in partnership with Property Week and Taylor Wimpey, on Thursday 27th September, in London raising £17,900 for CRASH charity.

The event, developed by CRASH Patron Taylor Wimpey’s graduates as part of their graduate development in 2017, welcomed teams from 8build, Arcadis, Coins, London Building Control, Middlesex University Corporate, Moore Stephens, Rydon, SUMO Services, Taylor Wimpey and VolkerFitzpatrick.

Teams arrived and set off armed with an iPad, hot-footing it around central London and undertaking a variety of weird and wonderful challenges, competing against their industry peers to be crowned the 2018 Wildgoose Chase Champions. Teams completed a number of interactive challenges which saw participants dance on the streets, re-enact famous scenes from British Soaps and many more.

‘Geesed Anglia’ were crowned the 2018 Wildgoose Chase champions taking home the Award and medals.

The event raised an incredible £17,900 which will enable CRASH charity to continue creating places that care for people who are homeless and those young and old receiving end of life care in a hospice.

CRASH Senior Partnership Manager said:

‘‘The event was once again a huge success. It was great to see such commitment and support from the construction industry. Teams fully embraced the fun-element of the day whilst also team building, networking and raising vital funds for CRASH charity.’’
