Picnic for CRASH this Summer

We are asking the construction industry to harness the power of the picnic to support homeless people, and children and adults who need hospice care.

#PicnicforCRASH is an opportunity for construction companies to unite for an industry-wide summer fundraiser. Your company picnic should be on a date that suits you and bring people together to share food, games and enjoy the outdoors all whilst raising vital funds for our charity projects helping homelessness charities and hospices.

Whether it’s a jug of pimms, cucumber sandwiches or sausage rolls that make your perfect outdoor gathering, we’re calling on the industry to come together outside and take a moment to enjoy your #picnicforCRASH.

How do I take part?

Step 1 – Choose a date, time and location, and decide whether your company will cover refreshments or if guests should bring their favourite summer staples to share with the team.
Step 2 – Set up a fundraising page so guests can donate to attend. Ask your company if they have a match funding scheme to double donations raised and maximise your impact!
Step 3 – Invite your colleagues to join you or turn it into an occasion and extend the invite to your clients, supply chain and family! What about teaming up with a fellow CRASH Corporate Patron?
Step 4 – Pack the picnic basket and you’re ready to go…
Step 5 – Have a great time and don’t forget to post your photos and tag us!

Recipe for success

Add a raffle to boost donations on the day

Add music with a mix of your favourite summer classics

As with most of our fundraiser’s the idea is yours to take and develop into an activity that inspires you and your team. You may prefer to have a BBQ; tag it onto a summer party you are already planning or host a coffee morning instead.
