CRASH Corporate Patrons gather to hear from homelessness charities and hospices

The CRASH Corporate Patron Forum is an opportunity for individuals from patron companies to come together and hear first hand the impact of their commitment to CRASH.

CRASH is proudly supported by 34 patron companies from across the construction industry. Each Corporate Patron makes an annual donation to CRASH and has the opportunity to be involved in meaningful charity projects, helping homelessness charities and hospices with their construction projects.

The morning started with coffee, pastries and networking, as guests had the opportunity to meet each other and connect over their shared experiences within the industry and working with CRASH.

Guests heard from two of the charities supported by CRASH, providing insight into the homelesness and hospice sectors. Amanda Dubarry, Chief Executive at Your Place (formerly Caritas Anchor House) spoke about misconceptions surrounding homelessness and shared stories of resilience.

Amanda Mayo, Director of Care at St Christopher’s Hospice who CRASH have been working with since last summer on an exciting project also spoke to guests about her background in nursing and bredth of care offered by hospices.

The CRASH team offered inspiration on upcoming fundraising events and ideas on how companies can inject fun, team building and networking oppurtunities into their fundraising.

As a Corporate Patron, companies underpin each project CRASH undertakes and the individuals who champion CRASH within their businesses enable us to help people who are homeless, and those in need of hospice care by transforming the buildings they need.
