CRASH hosts charity stand at Considerate Constructors (CCS) event
CRASH was delighted to attend the CCS Partner Meeting and Leading Lights Awards 2023 in what is the organisation’s biggest event yet – combining their national awards into one location, at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.
The CRASH team hosted a charity stand at the event, shining a light on its network of Corporate Patrons who underpin every charity project CRASH delivers, as well as promoting the current Christmas card appeal and how their companies can get involved.
Guests had the opportunity to connect with the team, meet Rocky Robin and understand the role CRASH can play in helping their companies deliver meaningful social impact across the UK – through CRASH’s work supporting homelessness charities and hospices with vital construction projects.
Respecting the community, caring for the environment, and valuing the workforce were the three core focus areas in the Leading Lights Award categories, and the CRASH team was thrilled to join individuals in celebrating the achievements and dedication of construction organisations, sites and people who have raised the bar in being a Considerate Constructor. Congratulations to all the winners and a special mention to Corporate Patrons, Galliford Try and VolkerFitzpatrick who scooped up awards!
Thank you to attendees who donated generously and collectively raised £509 for CRASH and Prostate Cancer UK. CRASH would also like to give a special mention to the lucky prize winner who kindly donated their winning prize back to the charity for use at another fundraising event.
