CRASH Patrons take part in Prudential-RideLondon 100 in aid of CRASH

CRASH is in awe of Simon A, Simon R, John, Dan and Spencer who took part in Prudential RideLondon – Surrey and cycled 100 miles to raise vital funds for CRASH. After months of dedicated training, the five cyclists from CRASH Patron companies: A J Morrisroe & Sons, Arcadis, Beale & Co and Knauf took part in the iconic cycle and collectively raised an impressive £5,250 in aid of CRASH!

The 100-mile route took cyclists from Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, past Hampton Court Palace and towards the Surrey Hills. Riders tackled Box Hill and Leith Hill before heading back to London to cross the finish line at The Mall.

‘‘Arcadis, is a long-standing supporter of CRASH and I am really proud to have this opportunity to individually support their work. Working in the Kings Cross area of London makes me very aware of the scale of the homelessness problem and I am delighted that so many friends and colleagues have been able to support me in helping to make a difference.’’

Head of Strategic Research & Insight at Arcadis

‘‘With perfect weather conditions and very few hold ups I managed to absolutely fly around the course, massively beating my target time. With the promise of an extra £10 of sponsorship from one of my colleagues I pushed myself over the last 10 miles to cross the finish line in just under 5 hours, an average of over 20mph! I’ve never got close to that type of speed. A big thank you to everyone for their generosity towards this amazing charity.’’
