Employees at Knauf Insulation have raised over £900 for construction homelessness charity, CRASH, the company’s corporate charity, following a cake sale and company-wide raffle.
The UK’s leading insulation manufacturer rallied its employees to support the vital work that CRASH does by selling raffle tickets for the chance to win an iPad .
Lydia Sharples, head of communications, Northern Europe for Knauf Insulation, said: “The homeless have an average life expectancy of just 42* years, far lower than the national average of 74 for men and 79 for women. It is essential that the industry supports organisations such as CRASH year round to help build and improve housing for vulnerable people in our society. The funds raised will help to support the crucial work that CRASH does.”
