RICS Roux Recipe Book Raises £5,000 for CRASH
Combining the top culinary talents of the industry, RICS has raised £5,000 for CRASH through sales of a unique charity recipe book.
RICS persuaded Michel Roux Jr to collaborate with them and CRASH once again, to create a collection of recipes from some of construction and property’s best-known personalities.
Mouth-watering Tarte a l’Oignon, Windsor Lamb Ragu and gooey Sludge Brownies are just a taste of the delights, from contributors such as Damian Wild, Editor of Estates Gazette and Richard Bonner, Partner at EC Harris LLP.
RICS Chief Executive, and creator of the aforementioned Sludge Brownies, Sean Tompkins says: “In various ways each year, RICS works with members and chosen partners to help and give back to society and local communities. This year, we have worked with top chef, Michel Roux Jr, and our industry charity CRASH, to help men and women who find themselves homeless.”
“The recipes and personal stories in the book show that many leading figures in our profession and industry share this love. Journalists, CEOs and many other keen amateur chefs have all come together to contribute their favourite recipes, to create this wonderful book for a great cause.”
