Patrons of CRASH commit to making an annual donation of £7,800 to the charity for a minimum of three years. These more than cover all running costs of CRASH and the surplus donations are then directed to projects.

This annual commitment allows us to budget effectively and operate efficiently, enabling CRASH to deliver a high level of practical support to frontline homelessness agencies throughout the UK.

Some Patron companies choose to give further support by supplying materials and/or staff time where individuals can offer specific on-site expertise, which CRASH directs to relevant projects depending on what needs they have.

Patron companies are also encouraged to involve their employees in CRASH community and fundraising events which run throughout the year and all across the UK. These events are not only a great opportunity for team-building and networking within the industry, but as all proceeds from our fundraising events go directly to help projects working with homeless people, they are also a fun way to put something back into the community and help those less fortunate.

What are the benefits of being a CRASH Patron?

Being a Patron supporter of CRASH gives companies the opportunity and means to help homeless people in a practical and tangible way.

Supporting CRASH is a fantastic way to unite and inspire your staff and colleagues while meeting company CSR targets, and we will help you do this by providing every opportunity to be involved in the charity in any or all of the following ways:

  • Helping projects on a professional level and/or supplying materials
  • Community challenges
Individuals/small groups give hands-on help to projects i.e. painting & decorating, gardening, IT support.
  • Visiting projects
Enabling your staff to see first hand how supporting CRASH is directly helping homeless people
  • Fundraising events
Taking part in CRASH events and/or individuals organising their own fundraising activities
  • Networking opportunities
With other companies & individuals within the industry
  • Corporate Social Responsibility
Supporting CRASH is a fun and easy way to meet your company CSR targets

Companies that become CRASH Patrons are asked to nominate the MD, Chief Executive or a Senior Manager, to represent their company on the CRASH Council. The council meets twice a year (usually in April & October) providing you with the opportunity to hear about CRASH's progress, contribute ideas, and network with other CRASH Patron representatives.

CRASH is a unique charity, created and supported by construction and property companies – it is your charity, and a charity to be proud of.
