CRASH raise over £3,500 as charity partners at The Water Equipment Show

On Wednesday 13^th and Thursday 14^th May, CRASH were proud to the charity partner for the first time at The Water Equipment Show and their Gala Dinner. It was a fantastic couple of days for our team who attended with an incredible £3,528.34 raised from those within the industry and CRASH supporters. This generous donation will directly impact and support our work and projects which provide safe, dignified environments for people who are homeless and those receiving end-of-life hospice care.

The Gala Dinner not only raised vital funds, it also raised awareness on the shared values and vision that are at the core of our industry, especially considering this was our first year as charity partners. During the evening, former England player, Paul Merson delivered an inspiring speech and Olympic Badminton player, Gail Emms hosted, as well as supported us in the Charity Raffle.

Our Corporate Partnerships Manager, Mike Allen and Corporate and Events Fundraiser, Edward Malloy attended the exhibition the following day, which showcased those working within the water industry. Across the day, they had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with a diverse range of visitors, discussing our projects, industry partners and how they could get involved. Every conversation proved invaluable not only to raise awareness of CRASHs work but to demonstrate the commitment, shared values and motivation of those within the industry.
