8build is named Corporate Patron of the Month for July

8build has been named Corporate Patron of the Month for July, in recognition of their excellent fundraising efforts.

8build have gone above and beyond to raise vital funds for CRASH, their involvement in several fundraising initiatives has helped to ensure CRASH can continue supporting homelessness charities and hospices with their much-needed construction projects.

On the 27^th of June, 8build hosted their annual Supply Chain Golf Day in aid of CRASH, raising a record amount of £13,390 for the charity. Golfers spent an enjoyable day at Stock Brook Manor Golf Club in Billericay, Essex and were given the chance enter a charity draw, bid in the auction or donate to CRASH at the ‘beat the pro’ hole.

Friday 5^th of July saw the return of The Construction Industry Sailing Cup in aid of CRASH. The day offered a fantastic team-building event and saw seven teams set sail on a fleet of luxury yachts. 8build entered a team, helping to raise £3,850 for CRASH’s work with homelessness charities and hospices. They even scooped up the winning trophy for the day!

Additionally, Andrew Nightingale, Project Director at 8build and superstar fundraiser for CRASH ran the London 10K on the 11^th of July – smashing his fundraising target and raising an amazing £730 for CRASH’s vital work with homelessness charities and hospices.

8build also entered a team in The Construction Industry Dragon Boat Challenge earlier this year; the event saw 39 companies from across the industry take to the water and battle their way to the finish line! The event raised an incredible £27,000 in aid of CRASH, with entry including a donation and everybody trying to fundraise as much as possible.

As a Corporate Patron, 8build contribute their skills and expertise to CRASH construction projects and unite as a team to take part in a range of fundraising activities, underpinning our work with homelessness charities and hospices.
