8build’s Supply Chain Golf Day Raises an incredible £21,415 for CRASH

On Thursday 3rd July, Corporate Patron 8build hosted their annual Supply Chain Golf Day in aid of CRASH, bringing together partners and colleagues for a brilliant day of sport, networking, and generosity – and raising an incredible £21,415 to support people who are homeless, as well as children and adults receiving hospice care.

Held at Stock Brook Manor Golf Club in Billericay, Essex, the day began with breakfast sandwiches before guests teed off for 18 holes of friendly competition. Throughout the day, golfers took part in a variety of challenges, including a blindfold round and the ever popular ‘beat the pro’, all while donating in support of CRASH’s vital work.

A charity raffle and auction helped boost the fundraising total, with standout prizes including a box at the Royal Albert Hall, a signed Usain Bolt photograph, a full set of golf clubs, and breakfast for members only at The Ned Hotel – among many other fantastic donations, all generously contributed by 8build’s valued supply chain.

Now a firm fixture in the calendar, the event builds on the success of previous years and reflects the ongoing commitment of 8build and their network to giving back. The funds raised will go directly towards constructing and refurbishing life-changing spaces for people who are homeless and those receiving hospice care.
