CRASH welcomes new Corporate Patron Pascal & Watson
CRASH is delighted to announce AECOM as our Corporate Patron of the Month for March, recognising their outstanding contributions to our work supporting homelessness charities and hospices.
AECOM is the global infrastructure leader, committed to delivering a better world. As a trusted professional services firm powered by deep technical abilities, they solve clients’ complex challenges in water, environment, energy, transportation and buildings. Their teams partner with public- and private-sector clients to create innovative, sustainable and resilient solutions throughout the project lifecycle – from advisory, planning, design and engineering to program and construction management. AECOM is a Fortune 500 firm that had revenue of $16.1 billion in fiscal year 2024. Learn more at aecom.com.
AECOM’s support goes beyond technical expertise, making a real difference behind the scenes. Their HR team has generously volunteered their time to support CRASH with recruitment, HR policies, and job descriptions, strengthening CRASH’s operations and impact. Their commitment to sharing professional expertise has been invaluable, and CRASH is incredibly grateful for their support. In addition, AECOM has been advocating for more meaningful social value volunteer days, which extend beyond their technical expertise, showcasing their dedication to making a positive impact in innovative and hands-on ways.
AECOM has also been involved in CRASH’s Bury Hospice Car Park Expansion Project since 2021, contributing their Project Management, cost management, Civils Engineering, Ecology, Arboriculture skills to name a few, and resources to improve facilities for patients and families in need of palliative care. Their long-term commitment to managing this project highlights their dedication to creating safe, dignified spaces for people at their most vulnerable.
AECOM’s leadership in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) is further reinforced with the recent appointment of Lucy Carraz, ESG Strategy & Growth Director for Europe and India at AECOM, to the CRASH Board of Trustees. Lucy’s expertise in ESG strategy, sustainability, and social value will be essential in shaping CRASH’s future impact. Read more here…
“AECOM have been a CRASH patron for many years. We value the pro bono volunteering opportunities which CRASH make available to us, encouraging employees to donate their professional skills. We have seen how skills based volunteering generates greater impacts, with more sustained outcomes, for people when they need it most. It is a privilege for everyone who is involved.”
Social Value Manager at AECOM
‘‘AECOM are proud to have been able to provide a range of pro-bono services for the Bury Hospice Car Park Upgrade project. It has been a pleasure working alongside the Hospice, SEL Environmental, and of course Vipesh and Ruth at CRASH who have been great in facilitating and coordinating the Patrons. Each of these patrons have very kindly gifted to the scheme and it has been amazing to see the generosity from all those involved in order to get this up and running for the hospice staff, who work tirelessly, and of course for the patients and their loved ones. That includes for SEL Environmental, whose pragmatism and flexibility helped make this scheme a reality. With Practical Completion just around the corner, we look forward to seeing the new car park put into use and celebrating it’s delivery with all those involved.’’
