Attendees at Bathroom Manufacturers Association conference dig deep to support CRASH
Attendees of the recent BMA (Bathroom Manufacturers Association) Annual Industry Conference dug deep into their pockets to raise vital funds for construction industry charity, CRASH.
The two-day conference was held at the luxurious Carden Park Hotel and Spa in Cheshire and included keynote talks from industry experts as well as panel discussions. After a successful two days of networking, a black-tie Gala Dinner closed the event with a raffle and silent auction in aid of CRASH, raising an incredible £3,050.
CRASH’s Francesca Roberts spoke passionately to attendees about the charity’s work, explaining that every penny of their generous donations will go on to construct places that care for people who are homeless and children and adults in need of hospice care. Francesca spoke about a charity CRASH has recently supported, a day centre that helps people who are homeless in London. CRASH transformed their building at no cost to the homelessness charity, this included the replacement of a bathroom that can be used up to 25-times a day.
Thank you to those who donated so generously and to the companies who donated and sponsored some wonderful prizes.
“Our conference attendees were all moved by the speech given by Francesca Roberts at our Gala Dinner, where I’m pleased to say our colleagues raised a healthy donation. My thanks also go to Francesca for helping to pick the raffle winners at the event and to all those who donated prizes.”

“Bathrooms are key to so many of our projects with homelessness charities and hospices – whether that be an accessible shower room for a person receiving care in a hospice, or a bathroom for a homelessness charity where people can have a shower and change their clothes. I am so grateful to the BMA for choosing to partner with CRASH and for giving me a platform to raise awareness of CRASH’s vital work with new audiences and highlight the industry’s significance in our charity projects. I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to guests who donated generously and to the companies who donated some incredible prizes to be won. CRASH looks forward to developing a relationship with the association for years to come.”
