Corporate Patron Beale & Co donates washbags to homelessness charity residents at Christmas
CRASH Corporate patron Beale & Co supported homelessness charity Kairos Community Trust this Christmas, by creating and donating washbags to the 25 residents at their Abstinence-support hostel, Lindon Grove.
The individual bags, containing hygiene essentials such as soap, shampoo and toothpaste, were gifted to the men and women supported by Kairos and will be distributed over Christmas.
Kairos are dedicated to helping homeless men and women with drug and alcohol problems. Addiction and homelessness are twin problems, and they believe that the journey to recovery from drugs and alcohol begins in a safe, secure environment. Residents have ongoing access to support workers and help in making planned moves to independent living.
Kairos and CRASH have worked together for over ten-years. CRASH recently completed a two-phase renovation and extension for one of their 29 move-on houses in London, providing extra rooms and a new home for people when they need it most.
“CRASH has a great relationship with London based homelessness charity Kairos Community Trust. Over a number of years, we have supported them with various building projects to improve their services. CRASH is very proud to say that our Corporate Patron Beale & co has gone a step further by supporting the residents at Christmas through donating washbags full of toiletries and treats. A huge thank you to everyone at Beale & co for donating all the washbags and delivering them to Kairos.”
