Construction News Awards raises £10,836 for CRASH

CRASH was honoured to be chosen as the benefitting charity at the 2019 Construction News Awards which took place on Thursday 11th July at Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London.

The glamorous awards ceremony brought together more than 1,200 of the UK’s leading clients and contractors for a glittering evening of celebration, recognition and networking.

“This year’s CN Award winners demonstrate that the construction industry remains home to unrivalled reserves of insight, invention and determination. Across 21 categories, our panel of distinguished judges found an amazing variety of groundbreaking innovation, inspired leadership and dedicated delivery. Every one of the shortlisted entries thoroughly deserved their place at the awards, having demonstrated their merit throughout a particularly rigorous, multi-stage judging process. In every category, the award winners can be truly proud of the scale of their accomplishments.”

Editor of Construction News

Giving so generously, guests raised £10,836 for CRASH during the evening through a charity collection and silent auction.

‘‘Huge congratulations to all the winners and finalists and a huge thank you to all at the Construction News Awards and their guests for their generosity. Your support means CRASH can continue to create places that care for people who are homeless or in a hospice when they are at their most vulnerable.’’

Francesca Roberts

Chief Executive at CRASH Charity

Thank you to the volunteers from Patron companies: Beale & Co, Cundall and Taylor Wimpey who generously gave their time to help with the charity collection.
