CRASH delighted to return to the CPA Autumn Lunch as charity partner
Construction News Awards returns to raise an impressive £21,337 to support CRASH’s vital work
CRASH was honoured to the charity partner at the Construction News Awards 2021.
After all events and industry awards were cancelled or virtual in 2020 it was a welcome return to in-person celebrations and fundraising.
The glamorous awards ceremony brought together more than 900 of the UK’s leading clients and contractors for a glittering evening of celebration, recognition and networking.
Giving so generously, guests raised £21,337 through a charity collection and silent auction, in aid of CRASH to help homeless men and women and children and adults with a life-limiting illness.
“It is so pleasing to know that as well as having a great time at the CN Awards, our guests were feeling generous. What CRASH does day-to-day is a great and inspiring example of how when the industry comes together to help great causes, results can really be achieved. We’re really proud that we were able to help get CRASH this fantastic total which will provide support to homelessness charities and hospices with their construction projects.”
Deputy Editor at Construction News
‘’Thank you to Construction News and your guests for their generosity. It is thanks to your donations that CRASH can construct places that care for people when they are at their most vulnerable. Thank you for the part you have played in supporting your industry charity.’’
Chief Executive at CRASH
A big thank you to the brilliant volunteers from Corporate Patron’s Arcadis and Beale & Co, who kindly gave their time to help with the charity collection. As CRASH is a team of 4, we simply could not complete the collection without the help from our patrons.
Thank you to Impulse Decisions for coordinating the silent auction.
