CRASH and volunteers return to The Concrete Society Awards

CRASH was thrilled to be named charity partner at The Concrete Society Awards, which took place on the 15th of November at The Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.

The awards recognise outstanding achievements in concrete design, construction, and innovation, as well as the contribution of the project team and the client.

The evening commenced with a drink’s reception followed by a call to dinner. 400 Guests enjoyed a delicious three-course meal whilst Marcus Brigstocke, well-known writer and broadcaster presented the evening.

Guests were encouraged to donate and enter the charity draw, with the prize being a delightful one-night stay in the Royal Lancaster Hotel – kindly gifted by the hotel. Guests generously donated and raised £3,390.03 in aid of CRASH; thank you to everyone who donated, and by doing so helping some of the most vulnerable people in our society, people who are homeless and children and adults experiencing hospice care.

CRASH would like to extend a huge thank you to the volunteers from Corporate Patron Beale & Co who helped to collect vital donations. Thank you, Rhia Gould, Ash Sood, Cameron Grant, Jack Amselem, and Deen Taj. These awards marked the final volunteering opportunities to collect vital donations for 2023!

Congratulations to the winners and highly commended at the Concrete Society Awards 2023!

“The Concrete Society is delighted to have raised £3,390.03 at this year’s Concrete Society Awards Dinner for charity partner CRASH. We look forward to hearing more about the vital construction projects CRASH help to create with the construction industry to provide places that care for people in need.”

“It was a real pleasure to be able to support CRASH at the recent Concrete Society Awards. Myself and fellow Trainees at Beale & Co have been volunteering for CRASH since joining the Firm and are acutely aware of how important our support is to them at events like these. As a small charity it has been great to support and get to know the team, and contribute to the difference they are making.”
