A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Corporate Patrons, Supporters and Volunteers
CRASH was proud to be part of the first-ever INCA Celebrity Charity Luncheon, hosted at The Building Centre in London. It was a truly inspiring and impactful event, bringing together leaders across the construction industry to celebrate collaboration, raise vital funds, and shine a light on the importance of charitable work within our sector.
Organised by INCA, the recognised trade association for the external wall insulation industry in the UK, the day combined industry insight, inspirational speakers, and heartfelt stories all in support of CRASH and our mission to help homelessness charities and hospices with life-changing building projects.
A real highlight of the day was a deeply moving and personal speech by Mossie Lyons, Director of Kairos Community Trust, a CRASH beneficiary charity. Mossie shared first-hand the profound impact CRASH’s support has had on the residents and staff at Kairos, and the importance of creating dignified, safe environments for people in recovery.
We are so grateful to Mossie for his honesty, warmth, and eloquence; his words reminded us all why events like this matter.

The event also featured thought-provoking presentations from across the sector.
Andy Gouldson gave a stellar overview of The Building Centre and the most recent exhibition, Retrofit 25, highlighting the importance of innovation and collaboration in shaping the future of the built environment.
Andrew Warren Chairman of the British Energy Efficiency Federation provided a frank and insightful industry perspective, addressing the current challenges facing our sector and the need for collective resilience and ingenuity.
And of course, the room was electrified by keynote speaker Kriss Akabusi, whose energy, humour, and powerful message on embracing change and leading with purpose left a lasting impression on all who attended.
Thanks to the generosity of everyone who participated in the charity raffle, £1,200 was raised on the day – vital funds that will directly support CRASH’s ongoing projects with homelessness charities and hospices across the UK.
We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to INCA our Charity Partner for hosting such a brilliant and meaningful event and for their continued support. The generous event sponsors, Aliva UK, Trueline Products, and EWI Pro. Your support helped make the day a huge success. Last but by no means least, to all the amazing attendees, speakers, and donors for showing up in support of CRASH.
Together, we’re making a real difference in the construction industry, not only by building structures but by building hope, dignity, and opportunity for the people who need it most.
