CRASH Honoured to Be Charity Partner at the NMBS Gala Dinner and Exhibition 2025

CRASH was proud to be a charity partner alongside Rainy Day Trust at this year’s NMBS Gala Dinner. It was a delightful experience for our team, and a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the incredible support from across the building materials industry.

A Memorable Evening: NMBS Gala Dinner

The NMBS Gala Dinner on Thursday 10th April was an evening of celebration, connection, and giving back. As one of the charity beneficiaries of the evening, CRASH was honoured to be part of such a special occasion. Thank you to special guests Chris Kamara and Ben Shephard for their thought-provoking speeches.

Thanks to the generosity of NMBS members and suppliers, an incredible £5,157.13 was raised during the evening, which is to be shared between the NMBS chosen charities, CRASH and the Rainy Day Trust. This generous donation will directly support our work providing safe, dignified environments for people who are homeless and those receiving end-of-life care in a hospice.

The Gala Dinner not only raised vital funds it also shone a light on the power of collective action and the shared values that bind our industry together. We’re incredibly grateful to NMBS for providing us with such a powerful platform and for their continued commitment to making a difference.

A Record-Breaking Exhibition

The following day, on Friday the 10th April, CRASH attended the NMBS Exhibition 2025, which welcomed a record number of independent merchant members and suppliers. As one of the largest events of its kind in the UK, the exhibition provided the perfect stage to showcase CRASH’s mission: to construct places that care for people, with the help of the construction industry.

Our team had the pleasure of speaking with countless visitors throughout the day; many of whom were eager to hear more about our projects, our industry partners, and how they can get involved. There was a clear enthusiasm for supporting social impact through construction.

We also had the chance to reconnect with many of our amazing Corporate Patrons, including ACO Group, Knauf Insulation, Heidelberg Materials, British Gypsum, as well as our Supporter Marshalls, and Charity Partner Pavestone UK Limited. It was a joy to meet in person, celebrate the progress we’ve made together, and discuss our shared commitment to improving lives through construction.

A Shared Vision

Our partnership with NMBS for this year’s Gala Dinner and Exhibition was more than just a fundraising opportunity, it was a reminder of how strong our sector can be when we work together for a greater good. With your support, CRASH can continue to offer practical assistance to homelessness charities and hospices, transforming their buildings into safe, welcoming, and dignified spaces.
