CRASH Corporate Patron, VolkerFitzpatrick donate over £24,000 in brand-new furniture to homelessness charity, Emmaus Village Carlton
VolkerFitzpatrick have donated two van loads of modern brand-new furniture worth over £24,000 to homelessness charity, Emmaus Village Carlton in Bedfordshire.
Emmaus gives people who have experienced homelessness a fresh start in life, offering support, meaningful work, and a place to stay for as long as they need it. The six-hectare site located near the small village of Carlton in North Bedfordshire is a popular hub among the local community, with a bistro and three charity shops.
At 42 bedrooms, Emmaus Village Carlton is the biggest homeless accommodation provider in the area. The furniture is already being put to good use in the bedroom accommodation…

VolkerFitzpatrick have been a Patron of CRASH charity since 2015, and the team will continue to support Emmaus Village Carlton with the renovation of their chapel building this Summer.
The project will be CRASH’s flagship project in 2022 and will transform the space into a modern workshop where companions (the name Emmaus gives to their residents) can restore furniture and host their popular upcycling workshops.
