CRASH delighted to attend VolkerFitzpatrick’s annual Paul Lane Memorial Golf Day as charity partner

Held at the prestigious Belfry Golf Resort PGA course on Wednesday 3^rd July, VolkerFitzpatrick hosted an incredibly well-run event, which raised a record breaking £23,647 in aid of CRASH.

The annual event, which pays tribute to late friend and colleague Paul Lane, Head of Quality at VolkerFitzpatrick, saw the collaborative efforts of the building division team deliver a great day out for their supply chain.

Guests enjoyed a breakfast and briefing before making their way to the course, followed by a minute’s silence for Paul Lane. Battle then commenced on the golf course in teams of 4. Golfers had the chance to ‘Beat the Pro’ at the 15^th hole whilst making a donation to CRASH. In the evening, attendees gathered for a delicious three-course dinner, raffle and auction which featured a range of luxurious prizes generously donated by the VolkerFitzpatrick supply chain. Auction prizes included Golf Fourballs at various prestigious Golf Clubs throughout the UK, including the New Zealand Club and the London Club, as well as Hospitality Packages for Premier League Football.

Following the success of their 2023 event, this year the 7^th annual Paul Lane Memorial Golf Day brought the total fundraised to over £110k since the event started – CRASH is extremely grateful for VolkerFitzpatrick’s unwavering dedication to the charity, the support given through fundraising, Corporate Patronage and involvement in projects. The donations raised will go towards helping people when they are at their most vulnerable, creating places that care for adults who are homeless and children and adults experiencing hospice care.
