CRASH is proud to return to the Concrete Society Awards 2022

CRASH is proud to have been chosen as the Concrete Society Award’s nominated charity once again. The very best from the UK’s Concrete industry came together at the Royal Lancaster Hotel to celebrate thirteen incredible construction projects and announce the overall winner – F51 Sports Park in Folkestone; the world’s first multi-storey skate park.

Presenter Jeremy Vine led guests through the evening whilst they enjoyed their meal and the opportunity to relax, network and celebrate the best in concrete.

A huge thank you to the Concrete Society for choosing CRASH as their charity partner. Guests donated generously in the charity draw, raising a brilliant £4,459.54. The prize, which was kindly donated by the Royal Lancaster Hotel, was a one-night stay for two.

The donations raised will contribute to one of our upcoming projects with homelessness charity Emmaus Merseyside; a charity that offers a home, as well as meaningful work opportunities, to formerly homeless men and women. CRASH will be installing a modular unit which will provide additional space to serve as a café style outreach centre. A project which, thanks to the help of the Concrete Society, will have a lasting impact in the community for years to come.

It was wonderful to see our Corporate Patrons, BAM, Hanson and VolkerFitzpatrick involved in some of the shortlisted projects. Thank you to our Corporate Patrons Beale & Co and Cundall for volunteering to help with the charity collection – we could not have done it without you!
