CRASH and volunteers return to The Concrete Society Awards
Hosted by Giles Brandreth, with impressive projects from award categories in Education, Innovation and Craftmanship, to name but a few.
CRASH is extremely grateful to chosen as the benefitting charity by the Brick Development Association, it’s thanks to the support and generosity of guests, an impressive £4417 was raised to continue our work supporting homeless people and children and adults who need hospice care.
Last year, there were no in-person events, and The Brick Awards was a welcome opportunity to bring the sector together to celebrate the best examples of clay brick in our built environment. Each year the awards attract the entry of exemplary projects from leading architects, housebuilders, developers and contractors, across 17 hotly contested categories. The return of fundraising at industry events like The Brick Awards, has been more important than ever.
‘‘Thank you to all who attended the Brick Awards 2021 and a very big well done to all the winners. Having the support of our industry is so important for CRASH, so that we can continue creating places that care for people, when they are most in need.’’
