Glazing Vision named CRASH’s first ‘Corporate Patron of the Month’

CRASH is proud to be supported by 36 Corporate Patrons from companies across the construction industry. As a thank you to the companies and individuals who support our work through sharing their skills and expertise, donating product to projects and fundraising; CRASH will name a ‘Corporate Patron of the Month’.

This could be for a superstar fundraiser, a company’s success on a project or an individual who has gone the extra mile to support homelessness charities and hospices.

Glazing Vision will be the first Corporate Patron of the Month, for March 2023, for completing the challenge of running the Cambridge Half Marathon. From first marathons to Personal Bests; the 5-strong team came together to train, run and fundraise over £500 in aid of CRASH.

Here’s what Glazing Vision had to say about completing the Cambridge Half Marathon…

Glazing Vision’s Jon Shooter (Managing Director), James Botwright (Operations Director), Jimmy Harris (Operations Manager), Matthew Tomlin (Digital Marketing Apprentice) and Lucy Walker (Marketing Manager) successfully completed Cambridge Half Marathon on 5^th March in a bid to raise money for CRASH.

We have been patrons of the charity for over a year now, and we really wanted to do something to raise funds to help CRASH support homelessness charities and hospices with vital construction projects. It was a brilliant day with a few PB’s achieved, and for two of us, the first half marathon we’ve ever run!

The 13.1-mile course took us past a number of historic landmarks, into the beautiful Cambridgeshire countryside, and into the grounds of the two iconic Colleges.
