Industry brings light to people’s lives by supporting the CRASH Christmas card appeal

Thank you to each company and individuals who donated to CRASH’s annual Christmas card appeal 2022. Together, companies from across the construction industry raised £91,457 to support CRASH’s work with homelessness charities and hospices.

It is only thanks to the success of fundraising appeals like the Christmas card appeal, and the generosity of the industry, that we can construct places that care for people when they’re at their most vulnerable.

CRASH asked the industry to ‘help keep the lights on’ and you responded with great generosity, bringing light to people’s lives. There are times when we all need a glimmer of hope and CRASH offers that assurance and help to people in a practical way. By donating to CRASH at Christmas, companies support year-round help for homelessness charities and hospices with their construction projects. With the help of our Corporate Patrons and supporters, CRASH can offer pro-bono professional expertise, discounted or free construction products and small grants to construct places that care.

Whether it’s a new bedroom for a person who has been homeless, or a welcoming dining room for hospice patients to share meals and memories with their families; the difference to individual lives is huge.

As the new year begins, we look forward to another successful year in partnership with the construction industry demonstrating social impact. In 2023, The BIG March aims to get the industry walking, The Construction Industry Dragon Boat Challenge will return, Ride London-Essex has our most participants ever, alongside many other opportunities to be a part of the industry’s charity.
