Kingspan Named CRASH Corporate Patron of the Month for July

CRASH is delighted to name Kingspan as our Corporate Patron of the Month for July, recognising their generous project support, fundraising efforts, and ongoing commitment to helping homelessness charities and hospices create safe, sustainable and welcoming spaces for the people they support.

Since June 2025 Kingspan has provided support totalling over £45,000. Kingspan continues to demonstrate the positive impact that the construction industry can have when businesses use their expertise, products and resources to support vital charitable projects. Through their support of CRASH projects and fundraising initiatives, Kingspan is helping charities deliver buildings that are fit for purpose, energy efficient and able to better serve their communities.

Project Support

Kingspan has provided valuable support to several CRASH projects, including Emmaus Oxford, Centrepoint Outreach and Severn Hospice. The project gift in kind since July 2025 totals to £33,181 – a number they should be very proud of.

At Severn Hospice, Kingspan Insulation supplied Kooltherm Insulation boards for the roof and floors as part of a major redevelopment of the hospice’s oldest ward, Perry. The project included the construction of a new extension and refurbishment of the existing ward, creating larger patient bedrooms, an additional communal lounge area and more functional spaces throughout the hospice. The redevelopment also optimised floor space, improved the overall layout, upgraded the roof and heating system, and incorporated smart technology to enhance patient comfort and care. Kingspan’s contribution provided a premium performance insulation solution, helping to improve the long-term sustainability and energy efficiency of the redeveloped building.

In addition, Kingspan commissioned a video showcasing the Severn Hospice redevelopment and highlighting the contribution made by CRASH Corporate Patrons working together to help charities create places that care for people. By creating a powerful case study of the project, Kingspan is helping to raise awareness of the difference that construction industry collaboration can make for charities and the communities they serve across the UK.

Kingspan are also supporting Centrepoint Outreach in Boston, who are redeveloping their existing building to create a more efficient, welcoming and practical space for clients, volunteers and staff. The project will reconfigure the interior to provide a larger drop-in area, improved reception, private interview rooms, a bigger kitchen and accessible facilities, alongside enhanced upstairs space for storage, offices and meeting rooms. These improvements will increase capacity, enhance support services, strengthen partnership working and create a safer, more accessible and sustainable environment for everyone who relies on the charity. Kingspan Insulation will be providing insulation for the building’s walls, helping to improve the thermal performance and energy efficiency of the transformed space.

Fundraising Support

Alongside their project support, Kingspan has contributed more than £12,000 through their Corporate Patronage and fundraising activities over the past year.

A particular highlight was the team’s participation in the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, which raised £2,427 including Gift Aid in support of CRASH. The challenge demonstrated the enthusiasm and commitment of Kingspan employees, who came together to raise funds that will help CRASH continue supporting homelessness charities and hospices with vital construction-led projects.
