CRASH delighted to attend London Construction Awards as charity partner
The London Construction Awards returned this September, selecting CRASH as charity partner for the first time. Over 380 guests from across the industry gathered at the Novotel London West to celebrate achievements in the sector.
Hosted by TV personality and comedian Dom Joly, The London Construction Awards celebrate the successes, advancements, and innovations of the UK’s construction industry over the past year. Amongst the twenty categories were; Excellence in Community Engagement, Supplier of the Year and Architecture and Design Firm of the Year.
The evening commenced with a drink’s reception followed by a powerful speech given by Francesca Roberts, Chief Executive at CRASH in which she highlighted the importance of CRASH’s vital work alongside homelessness charities and hospices across the UK.
Following a three-course meal, guests were able to enter a charity draw with the opportunity to win a luxurious 2-night stay at the Novotel London West with afternoon tea for two people, kindly donated by the hotel.
CRASH is incredibly grateful to all the guests who donated so generously – raising £4,017 for our vital work. Their support is key in constructing places that care for some of the most vulnerable people in our society, those who are homeless and children and adults who receive hospice care.
CRASH would also like to extend a huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers – CRASH could not have collected donations without their support. Thank you to Sonya, Romola and Kanan from Corporate Patron Cundall and CRASH supporter Buro Happold.
