Keltbray Named CRASH Corporate Patron of the Month for February
CRASH is delighted to name NG Bailey as our Corporate Patron of the Month, recognising their outstanding commitment, generosity, and hands-on support for our work helping homelessness and hospice charities across the UK.
From transformative volunteer days to championing young talent across the construction industry, NG Bailey continues to demonstrate what meaningful partnership truly looks like.
This month, NG Bailey volunteers completed extensive redecoration and repairs throughout the Kairos Community Trust property; refreshing walls, ceilings, doors, and skirting boards with paint, and addressing a wide range of essential fixes across bathrooms, bedrooms, and communal areas. Their work also included safety improvements, furniture repairs, window and door maintenance, and replacing damaged flooring and fittings, significantly improving the overall condition and comfort of the building.
Thank you to the following volunteers from NG Bailey for supporting at Kairos Community Trust in March: Morgan Todd, Simon Ball, Oli Kirkland, Kelly Hood, Mark Chittell, Emma Chute, Steve Bridges, Hayley Wise, Ric Blackburn, Adam Smith, Vic Sobey, Laura Hunter-Smith, Sam Wintle.
Their practical skills and willingness to get stuck in have helped create safer, more welcoming spaces for people rebuilding their lives – this truly reflects the spirit of social responsibility at its best.
We are proud to share that NG Bailey has been shortlisted for the Better Society Awards in the Partnership with a National Charity category. This recognition celebrates their exceptional and sustained contribution to CRASH, recognition that reflects their deep commitment to CRASH’s mission.
Some of the reasons for this nomination include:
At The Shakespeare Hospice project, CRASH was joined by three remarkable NG Bailey apprentices: Lauren Taylor, Brooke Hyde, and Keeley Checkley. Their energy, professionalism, and enthusiasm brought huge value to the project.
Lauren summed up the experience beautifully:
“On behalf of myself, Brooke and Keeley I would like to say thank you to both CRASH and The Shakespeare Hospice for this amazing opportunity. When we started in September 2025 on the project we were fairly new to NG Bailey and by being on this project not only have we been able to give back to the community but also strengthen our skills as we became more comfortable within our roles over time.”

A huge thank you to Lauren, Brooke, and Keeley; and to NG Bailey for investing so thoughtfully in the future talent of the construction industry. Their contributions help ensure that tomorrow’s workforce understands the importance of social value from day one.
For organisations interested in apprentice volunteering opportunities, please reach out to our Head of Projects, Vipesh Mistry.
NG Bailey also generously donated an Amazon gift card to be used at an event as a raffle prize awards evenings, helping us raise vital funds to support more life‑changing projects.
We hugely appreciate these contributions – and we always welcome prize donations, as they help us raise more funds for projects CRASH supports.
From on site to office, from apprentices to senior leaders, NG Bailey continue to champion CRASH’s mission with dedication, skill, and heart. Their partnership is strengthening the environments that homelessness charities and hospices rely on every day.
Thank you for everything you do, and congratulations on being named our Corporate Patron of the Month for March.
“NG Bailey is thrilled to be named CRASH’s Corporate Patron of the Month for March, recognising our team’s commitment to supporting the charity’s work transforming hostels, day centres, and hospice environments for people experiencing homelessness or those in need of hospice care. We’re genuinely honoured by the recognition – but truthfully, it’s the CRASH team who deserve the spotlight.
