NG Bailey Named CRASH Corporate Patron of the Month for July
We are delighted to name NG Bailey as our Corporate Patron of the Month for July 2025, in recognition of their exceptional support for CRASH and the charities we help.
As the UK’s largest independent engineering and infrastructure services provider, NG Bailey has long championed responsible business practices, and this year, their commitment has made a tangible difference at Bury Hospice, a charity close to the hearts of many in the local community.
Supporting Bury Hospice with Vital Infrastructure
NG Bailey has generously given over £25,000 worth of professional expertise and materials for the Bury Hospice project. Their works included providing electric vehicle charging points and external lighting for the car park, alongside professional expertise from their team of design engineers. Their support helped ensure that the hospice grounds are safe, accessible, and future-ready. Providing comfort and security for patients, families, and staff alike.

A Personal Connection
“When I was first asked if getting involved in a project for CRASH at Bury Hospice was something I was interested in, I grabbed the opportunity with both hands. Being a Bury lad born and bred tells me that if you live in Bury, you will definitely know either a family member or friend whose life has been touched by the fantastic work they do. Having been at NG Bailey for 27 years, I am always proud to be able to give something back to the community, but super proud that my role enables me to support such a personal project right on my own doorstep.”

Going the Extra Mile
NG Bailey’s support for CRASH goes beyond construction. This summer:
- Sharon Turner joined the CRASH team to take on the Big Construction Diversity Challenge. A fun yet powerful event that champions inclusion while raising awareness for important causes.
- Scott Newson volunteered his time to support CRASH’s fundraising collection at the Construction News Awards, helping raise vital funds to continue our work with homelessness and hospice charities.
