CRASH delighted to return to the CPA Autumn Lunch as charity partner
NMBS Gala Dinner returns to support CRASH
The NMBS Gala Dinner returned for the first time since 2019 and CRASH was delighted to be one of two benefitting charities on the night.
Held the night between two exhibition days at the Coventry Building Society Arena, the National Merchants Buying Society (NMBS) put on a show for their 60th anniversary year, with renowned comedian, Michael McIntyre performing an NMBS exclusive.
Michael crafted new material giving special mention to the Builders Merchant industry – a hit with the 620 guests from across the trade.
Laughs filled the room ahead of an evening of good food and networking. Donations on the night were generously rounded up by NMBS to raise an incredible £5,000 through a charity prize draw, sponsored by Makita.
NMBS is the UK’s largest buying society for independent builders’, timber, plumbing and heating, and hardware merchants are a continued dedicated supporter of CRASH.
“We are pleased to be able to support both our industry charities, CRASH & The Rainy Day Trust and are extremely grateful in our 60th trading year to see such generous donations from our members and suppliers to such worthy causes.”

“The NMBS are loyal supporters of CRASH charity, and it was wonderful to join the team and their guests in an evening of networking and celebrating their 60th year of trading. A huge thank you to NMBS and to those who donated in the charity draw to support CRASH and our work to help homelessness charities and hospices with their vital construction projects.”
