Reds10 awarded with Corporate Patron of the Month for October

Reds10 has been named as the Corporate Patron of the Month for October, in recognition of their incredible fundraising efforts.

In October, Reds10 took part in the ‘Meet Your Mountain’ hiking challenge in Chamonix. As a team of 11, they split into 2 groups to challenge themselves in a hiking event which required them (with the help of a dedicated team Guide) to plan the route and gain points from a combination of altitude gain and distance covered. Extra points were awarded for best photograph, cold water challenge and wildlife seen. They also received points for fundraising, helping them to secure the trophy for a second year.

Together they raised an incredible £32,000 (and counting), to help people experiencing homelessness, and those in need of hospice care through their incredible fundraising in aid of CRASH.

On the same weekend, Ryan Smith, at Reds10 took on his own challenge completing the Royal Parks Half Marathon in aid of CRASH.

As a Corporate Patron, Reds10 contribute their skills, expertise, and products to CRASH construction projects, and unite as a team to take part in range of fundraising activities, underpinning our work with homelessness charities and hospices.

It was brilliant to be back in Chamonix this year at the CHX Meet Your Mountain Challenge with the Reds10 team. We climbed over 4000m of elevation and hiked almost 50km over the 2-day challenge. This huge effort was just enough to win the challenge, but arguably more important was the collective fundraising effort in aid of CRASH. Every step taken (and blister plaster replaced) on the climb was made easier knowing that we are doing our bit to help those in need through CRASH’s great work. We are proud to have raised over £32,000 and are incredibly grateful to everyone that donated for getting behind us. It is an honour to be named as the Corporate Patron of the Month, and we only hope we can continue to climb, cycle, paddle and run in the name of such a worthy cause.
