Meet the CRASH Team Driving Change Through Construction
At a time of year that is particularly hard for some, especially those who cannot be at home – whether that’s a child receiving end of life care in a hospice or an adult experiencing these cold temperatures alone on the streets. You, the amazing construction industry came together to raise vital donations for CRASH.
With 23 construction companies across the UK joining CRASH festive fundraising, from an annual carol concert to Christmas crazy golf in the office – companies went above and beyond to support their industry charity this Christmas. So far, the industry has raised an amazing £5368.11!
It’s one of our favourite fundraisers of the year, where the wackier you look the better! Teams got involved in the office, on site and from home. A CRASH record of 19 runners took part and exceeded their fundraising targets, raising a whopping £1,173!
CRASH is delighted to be supported by The Worshipful Company of Constructors, and this December CRASH returned as the chosen charity at their annual carol concert.
In true festive spirit the WCoC and its members gathered at St Michael Paternoster Royal, London, for the beautiful service. Those who attended generously gave £495 for CRASH and our work with homelessness charities and hospices.
The CRASH robin has been busy in the lead up to Christmas, helping the team raise vital funds and meeting our wonderful network of Corporate Patrons and supporters!
“On behalf of the CRASH team and the homelessness charities and hospices that can and will receive CRASH’s help, thanks to the generosity and fundraising of those in the industry – thank you. It has been wonderful to see teams coming together up and down the country to support their industry charity. I look forward to working with you all in 2023, but for now, I hope you all have a Merry Christmas.”
