The Construction Industry Sailing Cup takes to the water in aid of CRASH

Friday, July 5th, 2024, saw the return of The Construction Industry Sailing Cup in aid of CRASH. The exclusive event, hosted on board Prometheus Sailing and Sunsail’s fleet of luxury yachts, raised £3,850 for our work with homelessness charities and hospices.

Seven teams took part. CRASH Corporate Patron 8build and PHP Architects entered two teams each, and Foreman Homes, SEGRO, and CS2 Ltd one team each. Overall winners 8Build (pictured) claimed the trophy.

The day was a fantastic team-building event and a perfect opportunity to network with other professionals in the industry while enjoying some friendly competition on the water with a series of matched fleet races.

Prometheus Sailing, part of Sunsail UK, has supported CRASH with a summer sailing event for some years. The entry fee includes a donation to CRASH, which means that before teams set sail, they supported the industry’s charity and played their part in constructing places that care for people.

The Construction Industry Sailing Cup will be back in 2025. We’re looking forward to welcoming the industry for the fantastic event.
