CRASH delighted to return to the CPA Autumn Lunch as charity partner
The Construction News Awards raises £16,940 to construct places that care for people
The annual Construction News Awards celebrates the best of the construction industry – the industry that underpins and drives CRASH’s work helping homelessness charities and hospices with their vital construction projects.
Francesca Roberts, Chief Executive at CRASH had the opportunity to address the 1300 guests about CRASH and how the many years of support from Construction News has made a huge impact to the lives of vulnerable people in our communities. Guests gave generously to the charity collection and silent auction raising an incredible £16,940.
“Construction News has supported CRASH and its work through our annual Construction News Awards for many years now. The work CRASH does is hugely important and has a life-changing impact on the many people it helps. The CN Awards celebrates the successes of the construction industry and its supply chain. But is also provides an important opportunity to consider and help those in society who are less fortunate and need support. Construction News’ partnership with CRASH is only possible because of the generosity of construction industry donors, who have given thousands of pounds to help those in need. This is the sector’s way of giving back and we are incredibly proud of its achievements.”

‘’A sincere thank you to the fantastic CN Awards team and guests who gave so generously to support CRASH’s work, helping people who are homeless and children and adults with a life-limiting illness. The CN Awards enable CRASH to continue our vital work, with both the profile it gives to the charity and the donations that have such a positive impact on so many people across the UK who need our help.’’
Chief Executive at CRASH
Thank you to the 10 brilliant volunteers from Corporate Patron’s Beale & Co and Cundall who helped with the charity collection. As a small team, CRASH relies on the support of our patrons to help us at fundraising events like the CN Awards. Their contribution is another example of how the industry can be part of their industry charity.
Congratulations to all the winners, notably Corporate Patron Reds10 who won first place for Low Carbon Project of the Year.
