Meet the CRASH Team Driving Change Through Construction
Every day across the UK, CRASH helps to construct places that care for people who are homeless, and children and adults receiving hospice care.
By harnessing the support of the construction industry, CRASH can help homelessness charities or hospices in three key ways; providing professional expertise and skills, construction products and awarding cash grants to projects CRASH has agreed to help.
From volunteering professional expertise on a CRASH project to summer picnics and client golf days in aid of CRASH, the wonderful construction industry enables CRASH to construct places that care for people.
In 2022-23 CRASH proudly supported 40 charity construction projects; donated over £308,000 in professional expertise, skills and construction products; and awarded over £370,000 in grants thanks to industry fundraising.
You can explore all our completed projects within the last year such as a new roof for a Hertfordshire based homelessness charity and an accessible entrance for Ashgate Hospice.
CRASH empowers homelessness charities and hospices to improve their buildings, creating high quality environments at the lowest possible cost to the charity. This means they can focus on what they do best, offering essential care to vulnerable people in their communities.
CRASH is the industry’s charity and you can play your part in the projects CRASH delivers by spreading the word about CRASH. Tell your local homelessness charity or hospice how CRASH can help them to improve their building – we love to hear from new charities!
The final months of the year are an important time for CRASH fundraising with the Christmas card appeal ready to launch in September, industry-wide activities such as Christmas fundraising and preparations for the BIG March step challenge in 2024.
