VolkerFitzpatrick’s Paul Lane Memorial Golf Day raises an incredible £25,000 for CRASH

On Wednesday 2nd July 2025, VolkerFitzpatrick welcomed their supply chain to the prestigious Belfry Golf Resort PGA course for the 8th annual Paul Lane Memorial Golf Day – raising an outstanding £25,000 in aid of CRASH and our vital work with homelessness charities and hospices.

Held in memory of the late Paul Lane, former Head of Quality at VolkerFitzpatrick, the event continues to be a heartfelt tribute to a much-loved colleague. Organised by the building division team, the day brought together supply chain partners for an unforgettable day of golf, remembrance, and generosity.

The event began with a welcome breakfast and briefing, followed by a minute’s silence in honour of Paul. Golfers then took to the course in teams of four, facing friendly competition and fun challenges – including the popular ‘Beat the Pro’, all while supporting CRASH’s vital work.

In the evening, attendees enjoyed a three-course dinner, followed by a raffle and charity auction packed with exceptional prizes donated by VolkerFitzpatrick’s generous supply chain. Standout auction items included fourballs at elite UK golf clubs such as the New Zealand Club and premier sporting events.

Following the success of this year’s event, the Paul Lane Memorial Golf Day has now raised over £135,000 since it began – a powerful testament to VolkerFitzpatrick’s enduring commitment to CRASH through fundraising, Corporate Patronage, and active project involvement.

The funds raised will go directly towards creating and refurbishing safe, caring environments for people who are homeless and for children and adults receiving care in hospices.

CRASH extends heartfelt thanks to everyone at VolkerFitzpatrick and all who attended and supported this special day.
