Meet the CRASH Team Driving Change Through Construction
This Christmas, your company can start a ripple of change for people experiencing homelessness and children and adults receiving hospice care.
It begins when you make a donation. You’re not just giving; you’re setting off a chain reaction of kindness, and together, the industry can create a wave of positive change for sick and vulnerable people across the UK.
We know that buildings affect how we feel and behave. As part of our process, CRASH visit charities, usually with a construction professional as a project advisor, to better understand their needs.
So far this financial year, we have visited 16 projects. Here is a flavour of some of the charities we hope to help:
London’s iconic Santa in the City is back! Join the CRASH team and walk, run, or skip 3.5k dressed as Santa to raise funds for our vital work with homelessness charities and hospices. You can join the run on Wednesday, 4th December, and the CRASH team day on Thursday, 5th December.
This October, CRASH celebrated Hospice Care Week and World Homelessness Day with a social media campaign showcasing some of the fantastic charities we support with building projects to improve outcomes for children and adults needing hospice care and adults experiencing homelessness.
Hospice Care Week is a chance for all of us to champion hospice care nationwide. Here are some of our champions:
World Homeless Day aims to raise awareness about the needs of people who currently experience homelessness. Here are some of our heroes:
This month, we are celebrating Reds10 for their Meet Your Mountain Challenge in aid of CRASH. Organised by Reds10 and CHX Challenge, four teams from Reds10, Studio FF&E, Apteriors and EvaBuild were challenged to climb and gain as much elevation as possible whilst travelling the furthest distance across the Chamonix Mountain range to raise money for CRASH.
The Meet Your Mountain Challenge raised an incredible £42,343, the largest ever fundraiser for CRASH and our vital work with homelessness charities and hospices. A huge thanks to Reds10, their sponsors, the climbers and all the generous donors. We are very grateful to you all.
