CRASH helps refurbish Recovery Hub and supported housing for homeless people in London
CRASH Charity helped Spitalfields Crypt Trust (SCT) completely refurbish their Recovery Hub, as well as renovate several living spaces at their supported housing accommodation.
Spitalfields Crypt Trust help vulnerable homeless people recover from drug and alcohol addiction through training, work experience and employment. Their long term support helps people to rebuild their confidence, self-respect and make real and lasting changes in their lives.
The charity applied to CRASH to help renovate their Recovery Hub and improve the living spaces at their supported housing accommodation, in order to create the best possible environment for recovery.

CRASH Patrons AECOM, Arcadis, Areen Design, British Gypsum, Dulux Trade, Geberit, VolkerFitzpatrick and 8build collaborated to deliver the project.
- £69,236 of professional skills and materials donated to transform the space.
- CRASH awarded SCT a cash grant of £40,000 to help with this significant building project, bringing the total value of support to £109,236.
